There are many paths to health, each requiring a variety of tools to support your journey.

I’m trained in several traditional talk therapy approaches, including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Internal Family Systems.

I have a strong interest in utilizing trauma specific therapies including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy).

I have also completed training in Trauma Sensitive Yoga Therapy and Yin Yoga Training, This has led me to focus on somatic integration, which means supporting the whole person through their entire experience. Therapy is about more than just your thoughts—it’s about connecting with your body, emotions, and mind together.

Processing Trauma, Finding Relief.

A path to letting go of what holds you back

EMDR
(Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

Life can leave us carrying experiences that feel heavy, confusing, or hard to let go of. EMDR is a gentle, evidence-based therapy that helps you process these experiences so they no longer have the same emotional weight. By working with both the mind and body, EMDR helps you integrate past events in a way that feels safe, supportive, and healing.

In this process, you’re invited to move through difficult memories without being overwhelmed by them. EMDR can help reduce anxiety, trauma responses, and stress, while creating space for calm, clarity, and a renewed sense of balance. It’s not about dwelling on the past—it’s about making room for the life you want to live, reconnecting with yourself, and stepping into meaningful change with greater ease and confidence.

With EMDR, healing becomes a journey you don’t have to walk alone. It’s a path toward reclaiming your present and discovering the resilience, strength, and hope that has always been within you.

ART
(Accelerated Resolution Therapy)

Sometimes, past experiences or memories can feel stuck, replaying in your mind and shaping how you feel in the present. ART is a gentle, evidence-based approach designed to help you process and reframe these experiences quickly and effectively. By working with your natural ability to visualize and reimagine memories, ART helps reduce emotional distress and shift unhelpful patterns without needing to relive the trauma in detail.

ART provides a safe and supportive space where you can move through difficult experiences with guidance, allowing your brain to “rewire” the way these memories are stored. This therapy isn’t about forgetting your past—it’s about transforming how it affects you, so you can reclaim your present and step into the future with more ease, clarity, and resilience.

With ART, healing becomes more accessible, and meaningful change can happen more quickly than you might expect. It’s a way to release what no longer serves you and create space for growth, connection, and a renewed sense of hope.

Take a gentle step toward support — let’s find the approach that feels right for you.

Family Sessions and Parent Support

This is a space where families can arrive exactly as they are—carrying questions, hopes, and the things that have been hard to talk about. Together, we take time to understand the dynamics in your relationships, pausing to notice what needs warmth, what needs clearer boundaries, and what is quietly asking to change. The work is gentle and practical, focused on creating clarity, strengthening communication, and supporting each person with compassion and respect.

Parent sessions offer a quiet place to pause and reconnect with your own wisdom amid the stresses of raising a child. Together, we look beneath the surface of behaviours and emotions, noticing what your child may be trying to communicate and what you may be carrying on your own. These conversations create space for clarity, compassion, and steadier caregiving—helping you feel more anchored, more resourced, and more able to meet your child with warmth and intention.
